Our Estate Chardonnay is fermented partially in stainless steel tank and partially in large format Hungarian oak barrels. Only the barrel portion was allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation. The resulting blend is fresh and lively, with vibrant aromas and flavors of lemon curd, granny smith apple and tangerine. A beautifully-made staple in any white wine drinker's fridge. 

The Bench Chardonnay is grown in the coolest section of the vineyard, then fermented and aged in large 300-liter casks lightly toasted specifically for this wine. The wine is fuller bodied than the Estate Chardonnay, with complex spice notes from the Hungarian oak, like star anise and cinnamon, yet the fruit remains vibrant and full of mouthwatering citrus flavors. A classic, lovely wine typical of the site and region.

Boon Fly's Hill Chardonnay is the most sophisticated and elegant of the three. Grown on a steep, exposed, gravelly slope, the fruit is intense, rich and ripe. Aged in small, 100% new Hungarian oak barrels gives the wine a luscious, creamy texture. Vibrant aromas of lemon and lime zest, fresh pineapples, white flowers, and a hint of salinity. The flavors are bursting with fresh tangerine, white peach, and lemon curd, and the texture is luscious and soft, leading to a long, warming finish of peach cobbler and toasted marshmallow. A beautifully integrated wine that is generous, complex and serious.
