Bringing people together over shared connection and new experiences is at the very core of our work. We are eager to bring our community together and express our gratitude to our Wine Club members in particular for all your support.
Join the Molnars, winemaker Alex Beloz and the extended Obsidian family in our barrel cellar for a celebration of the season, complete with warm, homemade traditional stew, a tasting of current release wines and barrel samples, and first dibs to purchase limited bottlings for your holidays.
Every culture has their own version of a winter stew that is the heart of family gatherings. For the Molnar Family, that recipe is gulyás, the traditional Hungarian beef and onion stew made with copious quantities of genuine paprika. In Northern California, dungeness crab cioppino is our beloved local interpretation of the Italian classic. Over the years, we have prepared both of these stews many times for our annual member event; this year we are tapping into the family recipes of our Obsidian family. This year, we asked our team to share their favorite family stew recipes, along with other holiday treats.
